Kai Kompany is owned by two artists, husband and wife Umi and Leinaala Kai. They are crafting traditional Hawaiian implements and weapons. Each piece Umi makes draws him closer to the Hawaiian culture he was born into. The design concept of his trademark and site relates to their Hawaiian identity, and to the material of his craft and weapons.
